Within the framework of the 7th Planta Europa Conference 2014, which will be held at the Museum of Cretan Flora of the Institute of Theology and Ecology at the Orthodox Academy of Crete,

We are pleased to announce a photo competition on the topic

‘PEOPLE FOR PLANTS, PLANTS FOR PEOPLE, 

The conditions for participation are the followings:

 

1. Everybody may send up to 2 photos and 1 piece of art

2. Photos should be taken within Europe by the participant

3. The nature should not be disturbed by making photo

4. Color changes and texts on the photo are not allowed

5. Name, address, telephone number, email address of the photo maker and the place, date and the name of the plant(s) -if possible-  mustbe noticed on the backside of the photo

6. The Orthodox Academy of Crete may share the copyrights for future publications of the photo.

7. The winners will be nominated only by the registered participants of the 7th PLANTA EUROPA CONFERENCE and they will receive personal phone call or message/email before the award ceremony (One can register at the conference as an attendee to get the right for voting).

8. Photos should be printed out using A4 size (210 x 297 mm) and sent by post, before April 30th 2014 to the Orthodox Academy of Crete, with a CD or DVD containing the electronic file for the photo (see address above).

9. Photos which are sent in for the competitions, could not be withdrawn. Pieces of art and products from the competition will remain property of Planta Europa Network and the Orthodox Academy of Crete.
