Goal:

Willing to support the participation of persons from lower and middle income countries in the 7PEC , Planta Europa Foundation allocated a dedicated funding to cover basic Conference-related expenses for several participants. 

 

• In principle, applicants from the following countries are eligible for the conference grants: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belarus, Georgia, Greece, Kosovo, Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine. In exceptional cases, also well-supported applications from other countries may be considered.

• The following expenses may be covered: 

1.    Basic participation fee including  gala dinner and excursions ( Total amount of 200€)

2.    Full board accommodation at the OAC in sharing room, economy standard for 4 nights  (Total amount of 360€)

3.    Both registration fee and full board accommodation at the OAC (Total amount of 560€)

 

The total amount of grants and the number of beneficiaries will depend on the number of applicants and the amount of funds at disposal. Unfortunately, no travel costs may be refunded. Conference grants will be awarded only to participants presenting a paper/poster. When applying for a grant, it is obligatory to supply an abstract for a presentation proposal (more details are requested in the grant application form).

 

Applications will be reviewed and grants awarded by a qualifying board of the Planta Europa Steering Committee members. The decision of the qualifying board is final.

 

Grant applicants will be informed of the result by e-mail and, if not qualified for the grant, will have possibility to register in regular way, in case they would still decide to take a part in the Conference paying all costs.

             

• The deadline for grant application is January 31st, 2014.

• On 15th February the PE Qualifying Board will announce the final result of the 7th PEC grants awards.            

• All applicants will be noticed personally by e-mail about the result.
